S G | Set General (Administrator) |
S G par:val [par:val] |
It sets one or more parameter of the general configuration of the system.
The parameter list, defined in the command, is left to right evaluated: parameters are set one after the other, starting from the leftmost.
Command evaluating will terminate if one of the following events will occur:
bad parameter(s) to be set;
value of the parameter(s) out of its allowed range;
conflict between the parameter(s) to be set and others.
All the parameters evaluated, before the error occurrence, will get the new value; the other ones will not be changed.
To activate the new values set, configuration must be saved and the system restarted.
Not all of the shown parameters can be changed. The note "<Read Only>" refers the not modifiable ones.
If the command is executed specifying a read only parameter, the message "COMMAND EXECUTED" will be shown, but the parameter value has not been changed.
SOUND DISABLE | Disable alarm sound generation (User) |
SOUND DISABLE |
It disables the signal acoustic generation on alarm situation occurrence.
The command acts immediately and doesn't need the system restart. it is possible to check its activation through executing the command D G.
If the system has been restarted, the status of the sound alarm generation will be the one previously set by the command S G.
SOUND ENABLE | Enable alarm sound generation (User) |
SOUND ENABLE |
It enables the signal acoustic generation on alarm situation occurrence.
The command acts immediately and doesn't need the system restart. it is possible to check its activation through executing the command D G.
As it was already described (SECTION XX CHAPTER YY), alarms are detected every 30 seconds by a proper procedure, so also the acoustic signal generation comes every 30 seconds.
If the system has been restarted, the status of the sound alarm generation will be the one previously set by the command S G.

it is possible to specify more than one events class at the same time, by separating the mnemonics with the character "," (comma), without space.
By omitting the parameter "E:", or specifying "E:ALL", the command will send to the Control Port session all the events that are generated.
In the case that no event is generated within an interval of 5 minutes, a "System Alive" message is displayed to signal that the connection with the Control Port is still open and that the command is still in progress.
D LDD | Display Log Debug Disk (User) |
D LDD [dd/mm/yyyy] [hh:mm:ss] [PO:xxx,yyy,...] [E:val] |
It displays the content of the Events Log, saved on disk, starting from the oldest event.
By specifying the date, the command will display the events occurred since the 00:00:00 of the specified date.
If only the time is specified, then the command will show the events occurred since the current date and the specified time.
By specifying time and date, the command will show all the events occurred since the time and date specified.
Doesn't matter the defining sequence of time and date.
Date and time formats must match the indicated ones, by using the same separators. The year field is an exception, because it can accept two or four digits. Moreover, if the seconds are not specified, the Abilis CPX will set them automatically to zero, while if the year is not specified the current one will be used.
It is also possible to define a port list (maximum 50 elements) that allows displaying the events relating to the ports specified in it.
Ports value must be in the interval [0 - 999] and separated by the character "," (comma), without spaces.
The parameter "E:" specifies the mnemonic of the correspondent events class to be displayed.
See D LDM command for the available events classes.
it is possible to specify more than one events class at the same time, by separating the mnemonics with the character "," (comma), without space.
For example the command "D LDD E:COR,PPP" will display the events classes COR and PPP.
By omitting the parameter "E:", or specifying "E:ALL", the command will show all the events present in the log.
The command reads data from the disk. If the disk is not inserted or any read error occurs, Abilis CPX will show a signalling message.
SAVE DEBUG | Save Debug Log on disk (Administrator) |
SAVE DEBUG |
It saves on disk the current Events Log.
The command writes data on the disk. If the disk is not inserted or any write error occurs, Abilis CPX will show a signalling message.
C LE | Clear Log Exception (Administrator) |
C LE |
It clears the Exception Log saved on the disk.
The command works on the disk. If the disk is not inserted or any read error occurs, Abilis CPX will show a signalling message.
D LE | Display Log Exception (User) |
D LE |
It displays the content of the Exception Log saved on the disk.
Information present in this Log is strictly technical so meaningless for the User, Abilis CPX technicians could need it for detecting and solving eventual problems.
The command reads data from the disk. If the disk is not inserted or any read error occurs, Abilis CPX will show a signalling message.
VALIDATE | Validate Configuration (User) |
VALIDATE |
This command executed the validation of the configuration currently in use. Configuration validating has been introduced to ensure correct Abilis CPX configurations. By validation it is meant the explicit execution of a series of congruence controls made by Abilis CPX on some important configuration parameters. Base controls on the type and the interval of values, allowed by the configuration parameters, are implicitly carried out by configuration commands, however exists a series of verifications that cannot be executed during the normal routine of configuration. Particularly, configuration parameters of cards and boards are subject to validation.
The output of the validating procedure can be positive without demanding modifications to the configuration, or negative if the validation detects some incongruencies or imprecision in it.
If the command is successful the message "VALIDATION SUCCESSFULLY EXECUTED" will be also shown.
If the validation detects imprecision and it can automatically correct them, the command is however successfully executed. But in such case, the procedure expects the displaying of informative messages which signal to the User the changes, made on the configuration during the validation.
If the validation detects serious incongruencies, in the configuration, that cannot be automatically corrected, the outcome of the command is negative. In such case the procedure expects the displaying of the message "VALIDATION FAILED" and error messages for signalling the detected errors to the User.
The following example shows a successful validation; the procedure required some changes in the configuration (caused by the values of parameters of the same port or different ports connected to it; or caused by incongruencies with the port type).
[18:22:26] ABILIS_CPX: VALIDATE VALIDATION IN PROGRESS... PO:201 changed "N1" from 144 to 528 because PO:301 "PS" = 512 PO:1 changed "FRAME" from 144 to 528 because PO:201 "N1" = 528 PO:1 changed "CODING" from NRZI to NRZ because PO:201 is LAPB VALIDATION FAILED
The following example shows an explicit validation failed because of some, particularly serious, errors detected in the configuration (inconsistent setting of two parameters of the same port, incongruencies between the parameter and the port type, sharing resources among two or more ports):
[18:22:26] ABILIS_CPX: VALIDATE VALIDATION IN PROGRESS... ERROR: PO:1 conflicting setting between "CODING" = NRZ and "CLK" = PCLK ERROR: PO:302 invalid "LOWPO" = 321 type ERROR: PO:321 "LOWPO" = 1 crossed setting VALIDATION FAILED
SAVE CONF | Save current configuration (Administrator) |
SAVE CONF SAVE CONF [<version>] |
This command executes the validation of the configuration currently in use. If it is successful, it is saved on the file DRIVERS.CFG on the disk.
On HD/CF based system only, the option "<version>" allows to validate and save the current configuration on to file DRIVERS.CFG in the selected version directory.
The <version> string must correspond to an existing version directory in the form 'X.Y.Z' or 'X-Y-Z' or 'Y.Z' or 'Y-Z' or 'Y', where X, Y and Z are decimal digit [0 - 9] (E.g.: 4-6-0 or 1219).
The configuration is saved and marked with a configuration state of "configuration saved but not yet loaded".
On the next restart of the Abilis CPX, if the settings of the saved configuration were correct, then the configuration state will become "valid configuration".
it is possible to check the current configuration state through the command D I. In correspondence of the just saved DRIVERS.CFG file, in the notes dedicated section, the string "Saved" will appear.
After the system restart, in correspondence of the just loaded DRIVERS.CFG file, in the notes dedicated section, the string "Ok" will appear.
If the validation and saving are both successful the message "SAVE EXECUTED" will be shown.
If the validation fails, the saving is NOT executed and the message "SAVE NOT EXECUTED" will be shown.
[16:15:50] ABILIS_CPX: SAVE CONF VALIDATION IN PROGRESS ... VALIDATION SUCCESSFULLY EXECUTED SAVE EXECUTED
The command writes data on the disk. If the disk is not inserted or any write error occurs, Abilis CPX will show a signalling message.
SAVE CONF BACKUP | Backup current configuration (Administrator) |
SAVE CONF BACKUP SAVE CONF BACKUP [<version>] |
It creates a backup copy (file DRIVERS.BCK) of the configuration currently saved on disk in the file DRIVERS.CFG.
The backup configuration is loaded at the Abilis CPX start, every time the one, saved in DRIVERS.CFG, is not valid or the same file is missing or corrupted.
Indeed, it is very important that the User makes backup only of those configuration correctly working.
The command will query the User for proceeding or not. The procedure is executed only in case of affirmative answer.
On HD/CF based system only, the option "<version>" allows to create a backup copy of the configuration file DRIVERS.CFG of the specified version directory. The backup file is always named DRIVERS.BCK and will be located in the specified version directory.
The <version> string must correspond to an existing version directory in the form 'X.Y.Z' or 'X-Y-Z' or 'Y.Z' or 'Y-Z' or 'Y', where X, Y and Z are decimal digit [0 - 9] (E.g.: 4-6-0 or 1219).
Here are two examples of the command execution.
[18:29:04] ABILIS_CPX: SAVE CONF BACKUP THE CURRENT SAVED CONFIGURATION WILL BECOME THE BACKUP CONFIGURATION. PROCEED (N/Y)? PROCEED (N/Y)?y PROCEEDING WITH SAVE BACKUP... SAVE BACKUP EXECUTED
On floppy based systems, the command writes data on the floppy disk. If the disk is not inserted or any write error occurs, Abilis CPX will show a signalling message.
SAVE CONF TEST | Save current configuration for test (Administrator) |
SAVE CONF TEST |
This command executes the validation of the configuration currently in use. If it is successful, it is saved on the file DRIVERS.CFG as test configuration: "Saved for Test".
it is possible to check the current configuration state through the command D I. In correspondence of the file DRIVERS.CFG, in the notes dedicated section, the string "Saved for Test" will appear.
On the next system restart, this configuration will be loaded and labelled as configuration under test. it is possible to check the current configuration state through the command D I. In correspondence of the file DRIVERS.CFG, in the notes dedicated section, the string "Under Test" will appear.
If the test configuration is satisfactory, the User can change its state by using the command SAVE CONF, otherwise on the next system restart, the backup configuration (DRIVERS.BCK) will be loaded.
If the validation and saving are both successful the message "SAVE DEFAULTS EXECUTED" will be shown.
If the validation fails, the saving is NOT executed and the message "SAVE DEFAULTS NOT EXECUTED" will be shown.
The command writes data on the disk. If the disk is not inserted or any write error occurs, Abilis CPX will show a signalling message.

SYS DISK FORMAT | Format a disk drive |
SYS DISK FORMAT drive: [-SF][par:val] |
This command formats a disk drive.
The command is available on HD/CF based system only.
The "drive:" must be a drive letter in the range [D,..,Z]. The system drive "C:" cannot be formatted; while for floppy disk formatting the SYS FLPFORMAT command must be used.
The "-SF" option formats the selected drive creating only a single File Allocation Table (FAT). This option should be used
to improve performance and efficiency.
By default, two FATs are created. The second copy is maintained as a backup copy for disk repair utilities.
If the primary FAT gets corrupted, the disk repair commands can copy the secondary FAT onto the primary FAT. However,
drives formatted with a single FAT have a larger capacity and better write performance.
The file system software itself will never actually use the second FAT. Thus, the second FAT can improve security,
but it always incurs a performance penalty because each FAT update requires twice as many disk write operations as
it would for a single FAT volume.
Below it is the list of the additional parameters accepted by the command:
Parameter | Description |
---|---|
CLUSSIZE: | This parameter allows to select the size of the cluster to be created on the formatted drive. Values in the range [4, 8, 16, 32, 64, 128, 256 KB] are accepted. It can be used only when formatting disk drive with size greater then 512 MB. |
FAT: | This parameter allows to select the type of the File Allocation Table (FAT) to be created on the formatted drive. Values in the range [16, 32] are accepted, corresponding respectively to FAT-16 and to a FAT-32 file system. If this parameter is not specified, the command will select a FAT type automatically. Drives with less than 16 MB size will be formatted as FAT-12 and drives with less than 512 MB will be formatted as FAT-16. Larger drives are formatted as FAT-32. |
Please note that some combinations of CLUSSIZE: and FAT: can prevent the command from setting up a valid file system. For example, a FAT-16 drive must have at least 4085 clusters. However, if a drive has only 10000 sectors, CLUSSIZE: is set to 4, and FAT:16 is specified, the command will return and error message.

SYS UPDATE | Update System (Administrator) |
SYS UPDATE SYS UPDATE <package> |
This command makes possible the system software update. It operates in different ways on floppy based system then on HD/CF based systems.
Floppy based systems:
This command makes possible the system software update, by receiving from a remote source the updated system disk image.
The transfer procedure signals its availability to receive the new software file by the following message:
YOU ASKED TO UPDATE A FLOPPY BASED SYSTEM. PLEASE UPLOAD THE FLOPPY IMAGE FILE. READY TO RECEIVE DISK IMAGE...
When the transfer is completed the following message is shown:
DISK IMAGE TRANSFER ENDED, PRESS <ENTER> TO CONTINUE...
Once the <ENTER> is pressed by the User, if the transfer was successful, the informative messages, "DISK IMAGE TRANSFER SUCCESSFULLY COMPLETED" and "SYSTEM UPDATE EXECUTED, THE DISK IS BOOTABLE", will be shown, meaning that the software has been updated.
On floppy based systems, the command works on the floppy disk. If the disk is not inserted or any read/write error occurs, Abilis CPX will show a signalling message.
HD/CF based systems:
This command makes possible the system software update in two ways:
YOU ASKED TO UPDATE A CF/HD BASED SYSTEM. PLEASE UPLOAD THE UPDATE PACKAGE FILE. READY TO RECEIVE PACKAGE...
PACKAGE TRANSFER ENDED, PRESS <ENTER> TO CONTINUE...
PACKAGE TRANSFER SUCCESSFULLY COMPLETED RECEIVED PACKAGE CHECK and EXTRACTION IN PROGRESS... CHECK PASSED, EXTRACTION DONE. VERSION '4-6-1' SUCCESSFULLY INSTALLED.
PACKAGE '4-6-1.PKG' CHECK and EXTRACTION IN PROGRESS... CHECK PASSED, EXTRACTION DONE. VERSION '4-6-1' SUCCESSFULLY INSTALLED.
In both cases, if the update package holds software of the same version of the currently running one, before starting the system update, the command will ask an additional confirmation with the following message:
YOU ARE GOING TO UPDATE THE CURRENT VERSION (4-6-0), DO YOU REALLY WANT TO PROCEED (N/Y)? Y RECEIVED PACKAGE CHECK and EXTRACTION IN PROGRESS... CHECK PASSED, EXTRACTION DONE. VERSION '4-6-0' SUCCESSFULLY INSTALLED.
In both cases, if the package verifications and extraction is successful, the package file is always deleted. On the contrary, if the procedure fails for any reason, the package deletion takes place only after the User confirmation.
The list of currently available package files can be displayed by the command SYS DISPLAY PACKAGES; while a package file can be deleted by the command SYS DELETE PACKAGE.
Once a new software version is installed on the system, it can be set to be loaded at next system startup by the command SYS SET BOOT VERSION.
The list of currently available versions can be displayed by the command SYS DISPLAY VERSIONS.
Old versions, not longer useful, can be deleted by the command SYS DELETE VERSION.
WARM START | System warm start (Administrator) |
WARM START |
This command writes in the System Log the event "WARM START" and executes immediately the reset of the Abilis CPX.
For executing the Abilis CPX restart, is strongly recommended to use this command; use the RESTART SYSTEM command only if it is needed to restart the Abilis after saving the Events Log.
The command writes data on the disk. If the disk is not inserted or any write error occurs, Abilis CPX don't save the event in the Events Log, but executes the reset.
If in the current configuration session the configuration was modified but not saved, the command displays a warning message and queries the User for proceeding with configuration saving or not.
In case of affirmative answer, the SAVE CONF command is executed, the reset of the Abilis CPX is not executed and the Control Port prompt is shown.

In case of negative answer, the configuration is not saved and the reset of the Abilis CPX is executed.
Any other answer makes the command to be aborted and the Control Port prompt to be shown again.
On HD/CF based system only, if in the current configuration session the Boot Manager configuration was modified, i.e. a version different from the currently running one was set to be loaded at next system start up (SYS SET BOOT VERSION), the command displays a warning message and queries the User for proceeding with system restart.
[11:38:04] ABILIS_CPX: WARM START BOOT MANAGER CONFIGURATION WAS MODIFIED: THE NEXT VERSION THAT WILL BE LOADED IS '4-3-1', WHILE THE CURRENTLY RUNNING VERSION IS '4-6-0'. PROCEED WITH WARM START (N/Y)? Y
In case of affirmative answer, the system is restarted. In case of negative answer, the command doesn't proceed with the system restart.
Any other answer makes the command to be aborted and the Control Port prompt to be shown again.
RESTART SYSTEM | Restart system (Administrator) |
RESTART SYSTEM |
It closes the current connections, saves the Events Log on disk, writes in the System Log the event "RESTART SYSTEM" and executes the reset of Abilis CPX software.
For executing the Abilis CPX restart, is strongly recommended to use the command WARM START; use this command only if it is needed to restart the Abilis after saving the Events Log.
The command writes data on the disk. If the disk is not inserted or any write error occurs, Abilis CPX don't save the event in the System Log, but executes the reset.

IPTRACE ACT | Activate TCP/IP Trace (Administrator) |
IPTRACE ACT |
This command initializes the TCP/IP events trace function, by allocating the data structures needed by it. The message "COMMAND EXECUTED" will be shown after the command execution.
The trace function monitors the events exchanged between the IP Router and the eventual TCP port.
The parameter tracerec:, defined in the IP Router configuration, sets the number of records the TCP/IP trace can store: if this value is set to zero, the TCP/IP trace is not activated.
If the IP Router is not present or inactive the message "IP SERVICE NOT PRESENT" is shown.
IPTRACE CLEAR | Clear TCP/IP Trace (Administrator) |
IPTRACE CLEAR |
It clears the content of the TCP/IP event trace and shows the message "COMMAND EXECUTED".
If the IP Router is not present or inactive the message "IP SERVICE NOT PRESENT" is shown.
If the TCP/IP trace has not been yet activated through the command IPTRACE ACT, the following message will be displayed "IPTRACE IS INACTIVE".
IPTRACE DISPLAY | Display TCP/IP Trace (Administrator) |
IPTRACE DISPLAY |
This command shows the content of the TCP/IP event trace. If the command is executed before the trace is stopped, by the IPTRACE STOP one, the error message will be shown: "TRACE STILL RUNNING".
The displaying format requires the information about each TCP/IP event to be shown in two rows.
Here is an example:
[12:07:07] ABILIS_CPX: IPTRACE DISPLAY 2302 O ESTABLISH 192.168.000.002:1856 192.168.000.060:23 SEQ 10149908 TCP ACK 895798600 DATA 2 PSH WIN 2048 2309 O ESTABLISH 192.168.000.002:1856 192.168.000.060:23 SEQ 10149910 TCP ACK 895798600 DATA 24 PSH WIN 2048 2313 I ESTABLISH 192.168.000.002:1856 192.168.000.060:23 SEQ 895798600 TCP ACK 10149934 WIN 16270 2332 I ESTABLISH 192.168.000.002:1856 192.168.000.060:23 SEQ 895798600 TCP ACK 10149934 DATA 2 PSH WIN 16270 2333 O ESTABLISH 192.168.000.002:1856 192.168.000.060:23 SEQ 10149934 TCP ACK 895798602 DATA 2 PSH WIN 2048 2340 O ESTABLISH 192.168.000.002:1856 192.168.000.060:23 SEQ 10149936 TCP ACK 895798602 DATA 24 PSH WIN 2048 2343 O ESTABLISH 192.168.000.002:1856 192.168.000.060:23 SEQ 10149960 TCP ACK 895798602 PSH WIN 2048
If the IP Router is not present or inactive the message "IP SERVICE NOT PRESENT" is shown.
If the TCP/IP trace has not been yet activated through the command IPTRACE ACT, the following message will be displayed "IPTRACE IS INACTIVE".
IPTRACE INACT | Deactivate TCP/IP Trace (Administrator) |
IPTRACE INACT |
It deactivates the TCP/IP event trace, releasing the data structure eventually allocated by the command IPTRACE ACT and displaying the message "COMMAND EXECUTED".
If the IP Router is not present or inactive the message "IP SERVICE NOT PRESENT" is shown.
IPTRACE START | Start TCP/IP Trace (Administrator) |
IPTRACE START |
It starts, once it has been activated by using the command IPTRACE ACT, the TCP/IP events trace and display the message "COMMAND EXECUTED".
Trace is handled in a circular way: once the maximum number of allowed events is reached, the oldest are replaced by the newest.
If the IP Router is not present or inactive the message "IP SERVICE NOT PRESENT" is shown.
If the TCP/IP trace has not been yet activated through the command IPTRACE ACT, the following message will be displayed "IPTRACE IS INACTIVE".
IPTRACE STOP | Stop TCP/IP Trace (Administrator) |
IPTRACE STOP |
It stops the TCP/IP events trace and shows the message "COMMAND EXECUTED".

TRACE ACT TRACE ACT PO:xxx[,yyy, ...] [SIZE:val] [DATA:val] [CMD:val] [LSN:val] [TYPE:val] |
It activates the internal events trace function.
If no parameter is specified, the following message is displayed: "NO PARAMETER SPECIFIED: USING SAVED VALUES..." and the trace function is activated using the setting already saved through the commands TRACE PARAM SET and TRACE PARAM SAVE.
As alternative, the command will activate the trace function on the specified ports with the options eventually indicated in the command row. Optional parameters not indicated will be set to their values already saved through the commands TRACE PARAM SET and TRACE PARAM SAVE.
The mandatory parameter "PO:" sets the list of ports (minimum 1, maximum 50) that can be traced; their values must be in the interval [0 - 999]. Ports to be traced, must be "RUNNING", if not, the following message will be displayed "PO:xxx NOT PRESENT OR NOT RUNNING" and the trace function won't be activated; "xxx" stands for the identifier of the not present or not running port.
The optional parameter "SIZE:" sets the maximum allocable memory size for the trace function. If the parameter is not specified, all the available memory will be used by the system for trace activating, except the needed quantity for system management. If the system memory is not enough for activating the trace function, it won't be activated and the following message will be displayed "NOT ENOUGH MEMORY TO RUN TRACE".
While the optional parameter "DATA:" sets the maximum allocable memory size for saving the single event, remaining optional parameters "CMD:", "LSN:" and "TYPE:" make possible the activation of filters on the events traced.
Optional parameter | Meaning |
---|---|
DATA: | Maximum allocable memory size for saving a single event (byte) [10 - 2100 byte] |

[16:28:48] ABILIS_CPX: TRACE DISPLAY EXTENDED ? TRACE DISPLAY [ST:val or LE:val] Display trace of sent and received data [PO:xx,...][LSN:hex-val] [TYPE:val] TRACE DISPLAY EXTENDED Display trace of all commands [ST:val or LE:val] [PO:xx,...][LSN:hex-val] [TYPE:val] ST: Event time from which to start the display <Optional> LE: Number of the last events to be displayed <Optional> PO: Ports value for the events to be displayed <Optional> LSN: Lsn for the events to be displayed (Hex.) <Optional> TYPE: Data type for the events to be displayed <Optional>
This command is also available in the off-line configurator. In this case, the command syntax is:
TRACE DISPLAY filename [ST:val o LE:val] [PO:xxx,...] [LSN:val] [TYPE:val]
And it will show, in a short format, only the events of data sending and receiving saved on the file "filename".
The optional parameters "ST:", "LE:", "PO:", "LSN:", "TYPE:" work in the same way, as already described.
TRACE GET | Get Trace (Administrator) |
TRACE GET [1K] [ST:val][LEN:val] o [LAST:val] |
It transfer the content of the internal events trace, previously saved by Abilis CPX to a remote destination, by using the X-Modem protocol. Option "1K" activates file transferring through the X-Modem 1K protocol.
By default, the whole content of the trace, starting from the beginning of the saving, it is transferred. it is also possible, by using the proper optional parameter, to transfer only a part of the content:
Option | Meaning |
---|---|
ST: | Offset value (in bytes) where to start sending the trace content from. This parameter can be used alone or together with the parameter "LEN:", for selecting the exact part of the content the User wants to transfer. In such way the whole trace transferring is avoided. The parameter generates a conflict if used with "LAST:". |
LEN: | Buffer size (in KB) of the trace to be transferred. The value has to be considered from the beginning of the trace or from the offset set by the parameter "ST:". This parameter can be used alone or together with the parameter "ST:", for selecting the exact part of the content the User wants to transfer. In such way the whole trace transferring is avoided. The parameter generates a conflict if used with "LAST:". |
LAST: | This parameter set the buffer size (in KB, starting from the end of the trace) that is going to be transferred. This parameter generates conflicts if used with the parameters "ST:" and "LEN:". |
If the trace buffer is empty or got empty by the command TRACE CLEAR, the message "TRACE EMPTY" will be shown.
Before executing this command, the trace function has to be stopped, by using the command TRACE STOP, otherwise the message "TRACE RUNNING" will be displayed.
If the trace is not active, the message "TRACE INACTIVE" will be shown.
The transfer procedure signals its availability to transfer the trace file by the message "READY TO SEND TRACE BUFFER..."
When the transfer is completed the following message is shown: "TRACE BUFFER TRANSFER ENDED, PRESS <ENTER> TO CONTINUE...", after pressing the <ENTER> button, an informative message, "TRACE BUFFER TRANSFER SUCCESSFULLY COMPLETED", will be shown if it was successful.
By typing the string "TRACE GET ?", an informative message about command syntax will be shown.
For example:
[16:53:08] ABILIS_CPX: TRACE GET ? TRACE GET [1K] Transfer trace using X-Modem or X-Modem 1K [ST: and/or LEN:] or [LAST:] 1K Use the X-Modem 1K transfer protocol <Optional> ST: Trace buffer start value [in Kbytes] <Optional> LEN: Number of Kbytes to be transmitted, starting from the beginning of the Tracer buffer or from the "ST:" value <Optional> LAST: Number of Kbytes to be transmitted, starting from the end of the Tracer buffer <Optional>
