Released on August 4, 2005.
This version is expected to be the last one of the 5.3.x branch.
Updated SNMP mib for IP speed limit diagnostics.
Fixed another small glitch in the newly introduced L12-ACT feature. In a very particular situation the reactivation was stopped.

The newly introduced L12-ACT feature had a weakness, L2 was not reactivated upon a N200-OVR condition and next SABME failed because of L1DOWN. Situation recovered at first incoming/outgoing call, but until that L1 was “flapping” with serious TDM synchronisation drawbacks. Users that do not use L12-ACT:UP do not need to upgrade.
Released on July 26, 2005.

Fixed a bug in frame relay driver which was inadvertently introduced in version 5.3.5. Users that do not use frame relay do not need to upgrade.
Released on July 25, 2005.
All users are invited to upgrade.
Changed parameter L1-ACT to L12-ACTin BRI-TE ports. Now the parameters has two functions: reactivate within 500 msec the L1 and force L2 automatic connection/reconnection in TE-MP. The last feature is very important in forcing the counterpart NT to keep L1 always up also in MP lines, therefore making a clock reference always available for the clock recovery.
Added SPEEDLIMITdiagnostics in IP resources diagnostics.
Improved CTIP BRI-NT statistics, which now includes also LINEDOWN counter.
Improved quality during voice-to-silence transitions. In 5.3.3 we introduced: “reduced bandwidth occupation during silence periods in certain circumstances. SQ931 connections are the most advantaged”, depending on which sound was present before the silence period this caused small annoying glitches during voice-to-silence transitions.
Fixed bug in TRFA file formats.
With version 5.3.1 we inadvertently introduced a bug in file format. User who updates from versions 5.3.0 and below to versions 5.3.1 .. 5.3.4, will loose their TRFA files.
Version 5.3.5 restores the correct file formats, and “fixes”, without data loss, the wrong format of version 5.3.1 .. 5.3.4. Users can safely update from any versions to 5.3.5, TRFA data will not be lost.
Users should not downgrade from 5.3.5 to 5.3.1 .. 5.3.4, otherwise they will loose TRFA data.
Fixed a bug in H.100 clock handling. When only POTS and PB44 cards were present in the system, the actually used clock was the POTS internal.
Released on July 15, 2005.
Added dynamic speed limit feature. With this feature the speed limit can be adjusted to a different value in presence of outgoing datagrams with HIGH IPCOS priority. Main usage is to reduce speed to safe values in presence of VOICE packets, while leaving full speed to data transfers when voice is not present.
Small modifications to MLM layer of several resource. Failures on call triggered by voice frames do not increase failures counters anymore, moreover the “CALL” command now executes regardless of STOPPED states eventually present.
Added a feature for TE ports in BRI-HFC and BRIO that forces l1 reactivation when a B-channel is in use. This is just a protection since NT on the other side should already perform reactivation.
Fixed a problem in DSP driver which in rare cases, and on very loaded system, could induce an autorestart of the DSP itself. Even in presence of this problem there was no disturb to user conversation because it happened at call start or close time.
Fixed a bug in POTS interfaces. Very seldomly, if a user picks up phone while CLIP is in progress a noise overlapped to voice was heard; it was enough to receive another call to recover.
Released on July 5, 2005.
Added a feature in ADSL driver that make an automatic reset of the modem every 5 minutes that the line persists in “not-UP” state.
Addend support of G.729A, when applicable.
Reduced bandwidth occupation during silence periods in certain circumstances.SQ931 connections are the most advantaged.
Added support of the new card CTIHA2, a “DSP only” adapter with up to 6 DSPs (24 or 30 channels depending on EC tail length)
Minor fixes.
Released on June 7, 2005.
Changed default forAal5PayloadRxBuf from 10 to 30 in ADSL driver
Extended ADSL statistics
Extended NAT statistics
Added processing of incoming UINFO frames in TE-PP
Added debug queues status information in IPRTR. It is now possible to see current queues occupation and discarded packets by queue and by reason
Updated SNMP mib
Added new DSP firmwareDSP4F3 release 3.12
